Between 1961 and 1976, ie from 4 and up to 19 years, I had the opportunity to live in the town of Coya, belonging to the Commune Machali. Given the above, has caused me joy the request made, dated 02.05.2007 to the Minister of Education, 5 Members (* 1,), in order to declare COYA Typical Zone or picturesque.
The draft agreement, the MPs say: "we give this category relevant Typical Area or the picturesque town of Coya, in Region VI, since its architectural features combine perfectly with the description legal, as an example: COYA House has 100, with its housing stock of the then General Manager of Braden Copper Company, now converted into a guest house the state-owned Codelco, which has also been used by several Presidents of the Republic, at the same time there is a population used by executives early last century noted for its beautiful architecture typical American hospital facilities, theater, sports court and houses, set up an environment that evokes the heyday of COYA.
hope the declaration sought, convinced without doubt that COYA, deserve it.
