Myth, existence and consciousness
During the life of a person, there is usually a gradual transition towards taking consciousness of its existence. Could be considered a step in the state of consciousness to rational consciousness zoo. With the acquisition of knowledge, is "driven out of paradise" where it was and can no longer return to it.
The rational consciousness of man, though perhaps already has become inherent to the collective human being, often encouraged by parents to be acquired by their children. This leads to see the world and predetermined reality that taking consciousness to be performed accompanied by a specific values.
By analogy to the origin of humanity, I also imagine that primitive man was gradually becoming aware of their existence. To the extent that these primitive tribes took consciousness of this world "real", were expelled forever from the world of ignorance, happiness zoological paradise.
But primitive man needed then maintain that level of knowledge acquired. As knowledge and, inherently, consciousness, are promoted to be treated well by the other members of the tribe and its descendants. The memory of his history is identified as being aware of its existence and in turn, confirms the ownership group.
And at that point where there was certainly the phenomenon of myth, a story about some ancestors with superhuman or divine character made some incredible feats, which created the earth, animals and plants ... but ultimately, a story that, despite the intended changes were possibly over generations, were endowed glue that i root identity to the people.
As the myths explaining the origin of the world - creation myths, offering stability to civilization as they had a sense of real force to be placed in a time of origin of the world, showed other kinds of myths that told us why the mortality of man, why the good harvests, storms, etc. And these myths are added ingredients of moral values \u200b\u200bthat underpin that civilization to generate the first rules that helped the tribe to have a coexistence and a common ideal. The myths, to the extent that registered in the minds ways of acting in society, also became an archetypal form of existing laws.
Once stimulated knowledge, human beings need to know more. Curiosity, the need to satisfy your questions increases exponentially. The mythological stories that had appeared as responses to the great questions of humanity begin to derive also the origin of religion. A tool that, carried and maintained by the leaders of the tribe, keeps the populace under his command, protected by divine power. It is a guiding element of human social life, a tool that gives the (self appointed) kings a principle of authority.
For many tribes know the myths was to learn the secret of the origin of things. In fact, some tribes still maintain the idea that for acting remedy, it must know its origin. So, to heal a plant, an animal or a man, the healer must know the aetiological myth to play and try to reach their "prime time" and thus recreate creation.
know the origin of myths should enable us to learn the secret of its inception, its reality and its role. Maybe it's roots that should not be overlooked to maintain social stability in our civilization.
