CAUSE OF FATHER ESTEBAN BEATIFICATION GUMUCIO

FR ESTEBAN GUMUCIO was born in Santiago, Chile, on September 3, 1914. Son of Rafael Luis Gumucio Vives and Amalia, was baptized in the parish of Santa Ana on 7 September of that year, with the name of Joaquin Benedicto. He studied humanities in the Sacred Heart College of Alameda. He entered the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts at 18 years of age. After completing her studies in philosophy and theology at the formation house in Los Perales, received December 17, 1938 in Valparaiso, ordination at the hands of Monsignor Rafael Lira Infante.
